Today we had a very productive day. We had a planning day mostly because we planned out what we will do next friday to complete our project. We all payed Fletcher money and he will go to get the parts soon and then we will build the ihelper next friday. We are getting paint to make the ihelper looks really  good and professional. We are getting everything we need from Ace hardware which is very reliable. So by next fridy we will be almost done because of the progress we are making. Im really excited for what is to come ad you should be too.

The Struggle

Today we had a very tough day. We dont think we will finish so we had a tough time deciding what we will do. We dont have enough supplies or actually any supplies so we can do anything. We wanted to change our whole idea but we were told that we couldn't so we decided we will just make a design out of pvc pipe that will still move hopefully but we are not sure. We were told that we dont have to make it work and that we just have to finish which we will do. So the whole day we spent most of our time just going over and trying to get a good idea of what we will do. It will be hard to get supplies so hopefully we will be starting on that next friday.

Today we had a pretty normal day. We did a little more research on some other parts that we need from Home Depot and Lowe's. We encountered some problems while researching parts because some of the parts we researched were not in store parts s we had to research some more. Also it has become the time we must finish our project soon and I think that are group will not finish in time. We just do not have enough to do what we have to finish. But we are still trying ad Fletcher has made another recent final product. So we are still trying to finish but it might not happen so wish us luck.

Speech Update

Today we all made a ton of progress on our iHelper. We all finished making our speeches for our update presentation we have to get. We all did about five slides each and we airdropped them to Fletcher who combined all of them to make the perfect slide show to share with the class. Also we made the mist amazing thing. A moving working model of the iHelper. We made it out of foam board and it worked perfect. If you want to see it go to Fletcher Freeman's blog. I am very happy about all of the work we did today and very excited to show the class our presentation about the iHelper.

Speech Update

11/8/13
Today we spent all day working on our update speeches. We have nearly finished but still have a little bit to go. I have been doing my portions of the speech which is mostly research and where we will get our parts from. Also I have been helping Fletcher and Will with their parts and they helped me. Also I worked with what font we will use and what theme for our powerpoint. The powerpoint is coming up soon and we have made a ton of progress. To do are power point we are using Keynote which comes with our MacBooks. Next week we will be perfecting our powerpoint by checking how long it will take and his has to take around five minutes. Next week will also finish up our speeches.

Today we didn't do much physical work on the project but a lot of research. I researched some more on Home Depot about hinges so I can find the perfect hinge. We havent found the best one yet but we will this weekend. We have found all of the other parts so after we find the hinge we will have all of the parts we need for the final draft of our project. I spent most of my day researching hinges but didn't make much progress. Next week we will find the perfect hinge and have all the parts we will need. We will be nearly done with some of the important parts by next class and I am really excited.

Flawless Design

Today we made huge step to success by making a model if our design which looks really good. If you want to see the full thing go to Fletcher Freemans blog. The week before we got all of the numbers we needed to make the design and then we brought in foam board to make the design. We also put a computer on our design and it worked. Our design of course wont be made out of foam board but it was still cool that it worked. Our design is flawless and we are making a ton of progress week after week. Soon enough we will have all of the parts we will need for our final design. I am still very excited to see what the final design will be and soon enough you will get to see.

Today since we did not have much time we didn't get to finish much but i did more research on hinges. Fletcher brought some foam board and cut the design of our design. Next week we will be doing more research and making the final design out foam board. Not much progress this week due to time constraints but it will be a successful next week. I am really excited for how much progress we are making.

           Today we had the best day we have had yet. Today we researched the perfect track system, metal bar, and some hinges that we could use. We also drew a huge picture of what the final would look like and the length of what everything will be. If you want to see these picture go to Fletcher Freeman's  blog or Will Coclasure's blog. We got a very good idea of what we need now and we will make a ton of progress this weekend because we will get supplies that we need. I spent most of the day researching the supplies we will need and I also drew a lot of the picture. I also measured the lengths of the desk and more. We made a lot of progress and will do even better next week.

20% project

We have found track system that would be perfect for our project. We found it on the Ace hardware website and it is the perfect length and a low price. It will be very easy to get because there is a Ace Hardware close to where we live. We also got a nice model made to show a little bit of what are our project will look like. We are struggling to find some other supplies you might need but we are making a lot of progress. Next we will draw a final copy for our project for you to see. We will also research and find we here we can buy some of the other supplies. We are making progress and ready for next week.

Today our project had a bump in the road. We realized there was a small flaw in the design that wouldn't let the track system move. We had to change our design by moving the position that the track system was going to be on. We moved it to a higher bar on the design so it could move freely. Most of the time Fletcher spent his time getting the design, Will was searching other inventions similar to ours, while I was researching track systems. We still have been making progress on the track system. The design is almost done but we dont have any supplies yet. We are making a ton of progress and i think the progress is turning out well. I believe our progress will be a huge success and I look forward to next friday.

     Today we made a ton of progress on our project. We started sketching ideas of what it may look like. We also did a ton of research of how to make a track system. The track system might be a little hard for us to make but we can do it. We also brainstormed ideas of what the name might be. We came up with FLW CLIP which is a pretty cool name for our project.  I think it was a pretty good day and we got a lot of work. This project will be very successful if we continue the good work. We also made much progress on how the thing will look and operate. This project will be very hard but is is also possible. We made a lot of progress today and in a few more months the final result will be amazing. Next friday we will do a model track system.
